Our cupping at GP92 was hard. Everything was too delicious and the flavors really fought each other from coffee to coffee. The stripped bourbon hit us differently though. even if the pink bourbon is the king right now, it was not our favorite from the cupping. This was.
The price tag did hurt my soul a little. The price to flavor ratio is not as god as the pink bourbon. But to us it just had a more unique personality. I was transported to a minty tropical world, while Pla got softly carried by rose water scents and enjoyed the smooth peachy and slightly acid flavors. It is not an easy coffee to read after searching it, it doesn’t look like there is a consensus between roasters. In other words it’s a complex coffee, but easy to enjoy.
