Chiroso Chérie

Cupping this new Chiroso from Edinson was a unique experience. Just from smelling the greens you can know what to expect. Depth, strength and flavors. It tastes like a futuristic competition product, in the line of El Diviso's Ombligon. 

It is definitely a divisive coffee. I personally struggled with it. But as soon as we introduced it to competitors everyone was all over it. We sold out as soon as the coffee landed  and I regretted not buying some more. 

The notes are quite difficult to capture as there are so many, and it's up to the roasters and barista to turn it into their own creature. The acidity can be bright, the chocolates can be strong, the cooked fruits can be deep. 

We are sure we will see this in more competition.
